- Randy Turpin vs Sugar Ray Robinson (1951): Sugar Ray Robinson, considered the best boxer of all-time by many critics, entered the ring against middleweight champion Randy Turpin as a heavy favorite. - Cassius Clay vs Sony Liston (1964): Long before Cassius Clay became the legend that is Muhammad Ali, he shocked the world by defeating Sonny Liston in 1964 despite being blinded temporarily during the fight. - Hasim Rahman vs Lennox Lewis (2001): Lennox Lewis had come unprepared to the match in South Africa against American contender Hasim Rahman. Regardless, the brutal KO by the 20-1 underdog remains one of the most shocking victories in boxing history. - Corrie Sanders vs Wladimir Klitschko (2003): Corrie Sanders had come out of retirement to fight Klitschko, a fight to pass the time as the Ukrainian tried to find a tougher opponent. Instead, Sanders gave the boxing worlds one of its biggest upsets when it not only defeated Klitschko but in ruthless fashion with a round 2 KO. Foto: AP
- Muhammad Ali vs George Foreman (1974): Muhammad Ali entered the rumble in the jungle off after losing to Ken Norton and Joe Frazier in his last title fight. - Leon Spinks vs Muhammad Ali (1978): Past his prime and clearly unprepared, Muhammad Ali would lose his title defense against Leon Spinks, who only had seven professional fights under his belt. - Antonio Tarver vs Roy Jones Junior (2004): Antonio Tarver almost pulled off the upset the first time he met Roy Jones Junior, with the favorite winning by decision in 2003. - George Foreman vs Michael Moorer (1994): Way past his prime, 21 years after winning his first heavyweight title, 46-years old George Foreman defeated Michael Moorer with a 10th round knockout. - Frankie Randall vs Juio Cesar Chavez (1994) Mexican legend Julio Cesar Chavez was undefeated in 90 fights and a 15-1 favorite against a younger Frankie Randall in 1994.
